Pula is an insurance technology company that designs and implements index-based agriculture insurance solutions for millions of smallholder farmers, protecting them from the impact of climate risks and giving them the confidence to invest in their farms and increase farm profits. With DFC’s support, Pula will establish its reinsurance vehicle to increase its reach to more smallholder farmers in developing countries and design more targeted interventions towards women and other vulnerable populations.
