Description
This session will focus on the essential role of impact catalysts, not only through catalytic capital vehicles such as equity and debt funds, but also on how late-stage co-founders can be a key element in helping Latin American impact founders overcome barriers and scale their startups. While capital is necessary, it is not sufficient—startups also need strategy design, IMM (impact measurement and management) capacities, an engaging storytelling, a trusted network, and care for the founder’s well-being. We can upgrade the car in every possible way, but if the driver isn’t ready to handle it, it won’t go far. That’s why we will explore how startups can benefit from comprehensive support that goes beyond financial investment. Through practical examples, we will analyze how this holistic approach facilitates the growth of resilient, impact-driven companies, enabling entrepreneurs to access resources beyond traditional investment funds.
