Bringing Arts to Incarcerated Youth

Naomi Ackerman Advot

For over 10 years, Advot has worked with the most vulnerable youth in LA County, forging partnerships within oppressive and challenging systems, and serving at-promise youth, who are eager to engage, despite their circumstances. Through this workshop, we will highlight best practices in forging deep partnerships within the probation system as well as reaching youth through the arts with our innovative Ripple Method, which fosters healthy communication skills through the arts.
