Build a Museum of Obsolete Practices with Your Organization

Impact organizations invest enormous energy in changing the world — but rarely examine whether their own internal practices align with the futures they’re trying to build. When inherited ways of working contradict stated values, the gap doesn’t just create friction. It blocks the systemic change the organization exists to deliver. This session uses a museum-inspired methodology to examine that gap from the inside. Participants co-build a Museum of Obsolete Practices — a collective exhibition of the organizational habits they most want to leave behind — and discover not just what to discard, but what those practices were originally reaching toward, and what it might look like to finally meet those needs in ways that actually work.
