Description

Climate change is interconnected with the financial pressures facing working families. Rising housing costs, extreme weather, higher temperatures, and growing utility bills and debt are straining financial security and limiting economic mobility. Over the past year, SaverLife has worked with its members—low- and moderate-income households across the U.S.—to understand how these challenges impact their financial stability and future outlook. Through conversations, futurism exercises, and community-based research, one lesson stood out: those most affected must help design solutions. This session explores what’s possible when people are active partners—building stronger, more climate-resilient, and financially stable communities.
