Description

Climate leaders are carrying an extraordinary burden. As they push forward with critical solutions amid escalating disasters, political resistance, and shrinking resources, they are also grappling with the rising toll of burnout, eco-anxiety, and collective grief. Recent seismic setbacks have made this essential work even harder, straining the human systems behind the climate movement.

This workshop focuses on strengthening the human capacity at the heart of climate action. Participants will engage in collaborative, peer-driven learning to surface the emotional and organizational barriers that can undermine long-term engagement—and to co-create strategies for sustaining themselves and their teams. Together, we will explore how different responses to uncertainty—action, reflection, external seeking, internal processing—can shift from sources of tension into levers for trust, cohesion, and momentum.

This session offers not just emotional insight but a replicable framework to help climate organizations navigate overwhelm, foster cultures of courage and care, and stay mobilized in the face of ongoing and formidable challenges.
