Announcing the SOCAP24 Agenda — Going Deeper: Catalyzing Systems Change!

Building Resilient Relationships that Unlock Systems Change

Daniel Pritchard Essential Partners

Toxic polarization has made it nearly impossible to build the diverse coalitions we need to catalyze systemic change. Communities across the globe remain trapped in cycles of conflict and frustration without the tools to address the root causes of polarization, such as othering, stereotyping, and misunderstanding.

Reflective Structured Dialogue is a research-backed communication framework developed by Essential Partners that can break cycles of polarization, allowing communities to forge resilient relationships, trust, and deep mutual understanding where they live, work, worship, and learn.

Through this highly interactive workshop, participants will learn how dialogue unlocks the power of diverse perspectives to solve systemic challenges while helping communities and organizations chart more inclusive futures. Speakers will discuss the ways that dialogue has been applied and adapted across very different contexts and highlight successful examples of dialogue being used as a catalyst for change.
