Farming and Financing Climate Solutions: Stacked Benefits, Collaborative Action

A ground-up movement led by farmers, local communities and tribes are growing the largest footprint of on-the-ground ecosystem restoration in the Western U.S. – in the heart of the state’s agricultural powerhouse. With a deep commitment to science and nonpartisan collaboration, water and climate solutions are at-hand and scaling up in California. Panelists will share insights on the tipping points and creative partnerships that have coalesced to drive momentum in ecosystem restoration and then engage audience participation in identifying barriers – on both the NGO and investor side – to tapping high-leverage private capital for our food systems, communities, native cultures and imperiled wildlife.
