Description

As impact data collection practices advance, impact measurement is moving into management and decision-making. But how should impact data be managed, and what counts as a “good” outcome? As impact measurement and management (IMM) for impact investing matures as a field and a practice, it remains difficult to compare data across peers, the market, and global targets, and to understand how to make informed decisions about impact based on the infinite data investors now have access to.

This session provides a case for thoughtfully identifying and contextualizing impact data, a discussion on the tools that are currently available versus gaps entrepreneurs could fill in the market, how to make sense of AI as an IMM tool, and a platform to troubleshoot the barriers that still exist to leveraging impact data for investment decision-making.
