Description
This session reframes trauma survivorship through the lens of access, context, and belief. It explores how healing and opportunity are shaped not just by resilience, but by exposure to new possibilities, supportive relationships, and environments that foster safety and growth. Drawing from the work behind GOTU, it challenges the idea of “readiness,” emphasizing that transformation often begins with access, not preparation. Centering lived experience, the session highlights the importance of building with survivors, not for them. It calls for intentional design of systems that restore agency, expand vision, and create pathways where survivorship becomes a foundation for leadership and lasting change.
