Fulbright Specialist - Supporting the Capital Stack & Entrepreneurship in Tajikistan

I will present on my work as a Fulbright Specialist through the US State Department, supporting Founders School, an early stage tech accelerator program in Tajikistan. I will discuss the benefits of applying for and becoming a Fulbright Specialist and I will walk through my work supporting early stage founders prepare for their demo day in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. I will discuss the benefits to the United States sending Innovation specialists to emerging markets and how this work supports better relationships across the Silk Road and economic development. Then, I will give a broader overview of the investment opportunities and the investment landscape in Central Asia, specifically the ecosystems being built in Uzbekistan.
