Description
Institutional and private sector procurement spend is large enough to shift capital at scale into the impact economy, yet almost none of it works for the communities it lands in.
This session takes a global lens across three very different contexts; the U.S., Argentina, and India, to explore how purchasing spend is being used to drive outcomes for underserved communities at scale.
This isn’t about finding new money. It’s about leveraging capital already in the system to transform employment, social, and environmental outcomes, and connecting the benefits of economic activity more deeply to the communities where businesses operate.
