Description
Small- and medium-sized businesses drive approximately half of our economic output, employ roughly half of all private-sector workers, and are responsible for the bulk of net new job creation. Impact investors typically target specific themes, such as microfinance, or select disadvantaged demographics. Few strategies target the shared structural barriers that affect many, if not most, small businesses. By investing in AI solutions that target the broad, systemic challenges small businesses face, impact investors can simultaneously redefine what impact looks like and expand their scope of impact. This session explores a new framework to drive systemic change.
