The Roadmap to Polycapital

Sidney Efromovich Generation Pledge

This workshop will engage participants in an exploration of their capitals, both providing a more detailed perspective on polycapital and engaging participants in conceptualizing their own polycapital potential.

The workshop will begin with an introduction to the scale of the challenge at hand and how exceptional the position of conference attendees is to do something about it. Jeffrey Mendelsohn, founder of Local Code, will explain his story and his personal polycapital journey. Afterward, we will guide participants through discussions of polycapital in the context of fighting climate change. The rest of the workshop will take participants through a detailed discussion of each type of polycapital: economic capital, social capital, political capital, and career capital, while providing opportunity for participants to reflect on their own polycapital access and potential.

Individuals will take their reflections home for further consideration, as well as a good grasp of the concept of polycapital and how to use it in practice.
