Description

AI displacing jobs is a real fear, but less obvious is AI’s potential to bolster human dignity in tomorrow’s jobs. If channeled correctly, AI can amplify worker voices, involve workers in co-creating new jobs, upskill workers to adapt to climate and societal shifts, and help today’s workers convert into job creators themselves. This workshop will first lay out definitions of good and green jobs – backed by research – to help assess the employment opportunities of tomorrow. We will then share specific examples of how AI-enabled tools have boosted the dignity quotient and advanced the climate resilience of jobs. We will invite practitioners to share how they have leveraged AI tools and compile a list of actionable best practices.
