We Can Fix That: Designing New Models to Move Capital Where It’s Needed Most

For a decade, the impact community has named the same truth: capital does not reach the communities, founders, and places that need it most. The Capital Innovation Lab is a delegate-led working session built around two themes. First, reimagining how capital can flow, moving beyond diagnosis to redesign the source, structure, deployment, and accountability of capital itself. Second, capital as a tool to heal, treating innovation as a restorative practice that repairs disinvestment, rebuilds ownership and restores agency. Co-facilitated by two seasoned practitioners, participants leave with a new image of how capital can flow, peer-tested prototypes and a 90-day commitment to deploy a new capital model.
