Where Do We Go From Here?: Choosing Our Beloved Community

Dion Cook Denkyem, SPC

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. drafted “Where Do We Go from Here: Chaos or Community?”, in 1967. Unfortunately, his words still ring true. King posited that true progress requires a social shift toward greater economic justice.

A Beloved Community is pivotal for long-lasting, liberatory, social impact. This would create a society where interdependence, abundance, and transcendence allow for coordinated implementation of strategies, systems, and capital flow. Without intentional, impactful, community, we will continue to work in silos and, ultimately, choose chaos.
