Description

Before we transform communities, we must start with the people we work alongside. Before we can build trauma-informed systems, we must first transform the way we lead. As conscious leaders, the first community we shape is our own team.

This interactive workshop invites social entrepreneurs, nonprofit executives, and impact leaders to reimagine what it means to lead with care, to reimagine how we build companies and teams—with a trauma-informed lens at the core. Drawing on the lived and professional experience of founding WellMiss, Jaki will guide participants through the often-overlooked truth: our team is the first community we serve. Participants will explore how to embed trauma-informed practices into their company culture, communication, and leadership style. Learn how to foster a work environment where compassion, emotional regulation, and healing-centered engagement are foundational—not optional.

Through guided reflection, hands-on exercises, and community sharing, this workshop offers a space to reconnect with the heart of your mission—your people.

This session is a call to rehumanize our workplaces. Because when we care for our teams, our impact multiplies.
