What is your role in the Social Capital Market?
My job is to wake people up! I do this through film, through facilitation, through connecting folks to the earth, and to themselves.
My other job is to bring awake people together…to stretch beyond their comfort zones and invite them to live outside of the box.
How might we re-imagine resources to create self-sustaining and thriving local communities?
The greatest resource we have is the creativity that lies within the individual. As we under-educate, under-nourish and consequently under-utilize the laden richness that is inherently filled with solutions within every individual, we create a world that promotes disharmony, disfunction and a completely unsustainable environment. We need to put our time, effort and money into re-inspiring people…especially those that we have thrown away and consider useless to society. We need a revolution of personal transformation that reaffirms brilliance within everyone! We need to shine the light in the darkest places…get folks bought in to their humanity. We need to change the narrative from hopeless to hopeful…from “there will always be people on the bottom” to one of realized equity. We need to put our human resources into a NEW STORY. Then…and only then…can we create the world we dream of.

What does Money + Meaning = to you? What should the social capital market stand for?
Beginning with the premise that in order to uncover solutions to the crisis we are facing, that the same minds that created it cannot necessarily solve it…we need to bring to the table the unheard voices who…if we listened…might have some new answers never thought of before. The social capital market should stand for a just and equitable world as the first step toward true sustainability.
