How Impact Investors Can Help Create Equitable Systems
The twin crises of COVID-19 and the fight for racial equity have transformed our lives – and created challenges and opportunities – in our education, health and workforce systems. The disproportionate negative effects on historically marginalized populations have laid bare inequities which have always existed, but have been exacerbated by the pandemic.
While the vaccines and reopening of the economy are welcomed milestones, there is still significant work to be done to create more equity for these populations.
Impact investors are no exception and this panel explores how new models of impact investing and a change in focus and intentionality are emerging.
In this webinar, the panelists discuss how different challenges are being tackled in the learn to work ecosystem and other social support systems, and how investor’s thinking is shifting – both in terms of the aspiration and scale of the change.
