Donor Advised funds (DAFs) represent a significant pool of capital ($120B), nearly 80% of which is passively invested. Amidst the COVID-19 crisis, there is an exciting and urgent opportunity to harness DAF capital to support communities in need through impact investing. Drawing on new research, Social Finance will share myth-busting insights about donor psychology and the size of donor demand for “impact-first investments,” exploring real-life experiences of three major DAF sponsors in implementing impact investments.
