Haiti has been marked by escalating gang violence and political instability for more than five years. Large employers continue to shutter their operations and the humanitarian crisis continues to escalate. And yet, a group of small, female-led, social enterprises are persevering and delivering life-changing paychecks and other benefits. How are they doing it and why does it matter?
