Description

Homeownership is one of the most effective tools for building generational wealth, yet systemic barriers continue to prevent many families—especially in under-resourced communities—from achieving it. This panel will explore innovative models for affordable housing development and homeownership accessibility that empower individuals to achieve financial stability. Grady Crosby will highlight Northwestern Mutual’s investments in expanding affordable housing stock in Milwaukee, including partnerships with community organizations to rehabilitate neglected properties and provide homeownership opportunities at under-market prices. The discussion will also cover the role of public-private/NGO partnerships, corporate funding and impact investing in making these initiatives scalable.
