I talked recently with Cat Berman, a young, four time social entrepreneur who is looking to learn about the investment side and see what she can make happen there. She wants to learn and to talk to people who can help her get smart about it.

Like many who may be reading this, I’ve gone from corporate to non-profit and back again, attempting to marry my passion for making money and meaning. When social entrepreneurship knocked, I came running. I started a series of ventures, both for-profit and non, to test the waters and show those naysayers that both scale and sustainability were possible. After launching a few successful ventures (A, B, C, D) and several war stories later, I find myself naturally drawn to the impact investment arena – and looking to learn more.
