More Accessible and More Transparent Ticket Prices
We are excited to announce a new, more accessible, and more transparent ticket structure for SOCAP25. If you are new to SOCAP or unfamiliar with our ticket pricing from previous years, you’ll find the structure below and on our SOCAP25 event page. If you’re used to the way SOCAP has priced and promoted tickets in previous years, we invite you to review the structure, goals, and rationale below for the changes we’re making this year. And, importantly, if you’ve already purchased a ticket for SOCAP25, rest assured you’ve done so at the lowest ticket price available this year.
The main details and structure of our 2025 ticket strategy:

This new ticket pricing structure represents a significant and positive change for the SOCAP community. Not only is the full-price ticket $600 less than in 2024, but the overall ticket structure is also more straightforward and clear than in the past. For the first time in our history, we are limiting the number of tickets at each price point and limiting total ticket sales to 2,000 attendees.
In the past, we have instead relied on dozens of different sales, price points, and special offers throughout the year. While there will be a couple of opportunities to take advantage of flash sales in 2025, the ticket prices and available quantities are pretty much set, which means we will have more consistent pricing across the board for all participants. Responding to your feedback, we are also including a special rate for qualified nonprofits, international attendees, students, and a few other groups that will be available after we open the Spring Ticket price.
Our recent research at the Sorenson Impact Institute on the subject of impact convenings highlighted what we already suspected to be true — conferences are expensive. Too expensive. Travel is expensive. Time away from work and life is expensive. And that cost was the No. 1 factor in respondents’ decisions on which impact conferences to attend. Access is a priority for us, and the research made clear that we had work to do in order to ensure more voices, more solutions, and more perspectives find a home at SOCAP25.
There are many reasons for limiting ticket sales to 2,000 attendees, but they begin with a desire to balance our “big tent” approach to convening the impact ecosystem while creating a more intimate and easier-to-navigate environment. By having the total attendance set in advance, we are able to be more efficient in our operational planning, allowing us to better curate and design your experience at SOCAP25.
We take your feedback very seriously, not just about price and size but also about structure and approach. While cost may be the first factor in deciding what conferences to attend, the value of those conferences was a close second. And so, we are also spending the offseason redesigning how we convene at SOCAP, with a priority on practical and applied solutions, direct engagement, deal-making, and world-changing connections. Our intention is to create unmatched value for your work, and your impactful outcomes around the world.
SOCAP25 promises to be our most exciting ever, and we can’t wait to see you in San Francisco in October!
